At Kronholm Design, we are specialized in transport design. We have experience in designing cars, boats, motorcycles, scooters etc.
We are always following a certain methodical process. The order may vary depending of the subject. In the beginning we focus on the existing product with a market and consumer insight. We analyze and propose the better Design Strategy as well.
We use our expertise to define all aspects, such as consumer behavior, sociology, ergonomics and cost evaluations.
In the concept generation, based on the conclusions from the research, we generate 3 innovative concepts for further validation by the client and future generation. These ideas are then visualized by sketching techniques, dimensional studies, 3D realistic images and mock-up models.
It is about the technical, esthetic and economic adjustment of the selected concept and preparation of it to the production.
The prototyping process is a very important phase, before the actual manufacturing. We can execute the prototypes in clay, wood, ceramics, metal or other convenient material with the aim to facilitate the manufacturing process.
We advise companies who wants to develop and define their business strategy. With our creative background, we can offer them our innovative approach, which can often encourage and kick-start new ideas. We will in collaboration with our clients defining new commercial strategies for new and better opportunities.
We create and develop industrial products. We study function and form, as well as the connection between product and user. Sketch making, 3D rendering, model making and prototyping are some of the main processes in Product Design.
